  • Knicks/Celtics Over (214.5)
  • Heat (-10.5) at Wizards
  • Timberwolves (-8.5) vs. Clippers

Knicks/Celtics Over (214.5) - 12:30 p.m. ET

Boston and New York play for the third time in the regular season this afternoon after splitting the first two meetings. New York eliminated Boston in the second round of the playoffs last season and won the opening matchup, 105-95 at the Garden on October 24.

The Celtics rebounded for a 123-117 home triumph in early December, easily going Over the total of 230.5. Boston is riding an eight-game Under streak heading into today’s action, after rallying past Miami on Friday, 98-96.

The Knicks hope to get center Karl Anthony-Towns back after he missed Thursday’s blowout loss at Detroit with a lacerated eye. This is the lowest total New York has seen this season and after Jalen Brunson was held to 4-of-20 shooting and 12 points at Detroit, look for a high-scoring affair in Beantown.

Heat (-10.5) at Wizards - 2:00 p.m. ET

The Wizards have a quick turnaround after getting blown out at Brooklyn last night, 127-113. This came on the heels of pulling one of the biggest upsets of the season on Wednesday, shocking Detroit as 16.5-point road underdogs, 126-117.

Washington faces Miami for the first time this season, entering 3-5 against the spread in the last eight games as a double-digit underdog. In the last two instances as a home dog of at least 10 points, the Wizards were routed by the Lakers and Knicks by over 30 points apiece.

This is a lot of points for Miami to lay, looking to bounce back from Friday’s meltdown loss at Boston, blowing a 22-point lead in a 98-96 setback. In each of Miami’s last three visits to D.C., the Heat have won by at least 12 points apiece, while nine of their last 14 wins are by more than 11 points.

Timberwolves (-8.5) vs. Clippers - 3:00 p.m. ET

This is a huge bounce-back spot for Minnesota, who was stunned by New Orleans on Friday, 129-115. The Wolves led by 14 points at halftime before getting outscored in the second half, 63-45.

The Clippers head to Target Center after edging the Kings on Friday, 114-111 to snap a two-game slide. It was L.A.’s first win since trading guard James Harden to Cleveland, but the Clippers still remain below .500 at 24-27.

Minnesota held off L.A. in the first matchup this season, 109-106 as 8.5-point favorites on December 6, the fifth straight victory in the series. Eleven of Minnesota’s last 13 victories have come by more than nine points, so the Wolves roll when they win. Let’s look at them to rebound today against the short-handed Clippers.
